In a small village on the shores of the largest lake in Mexico live "Las Flores de la Noche", four young transgender. Uriel, one of them, has decided to leave her female identity after joining a religious group that uses conversion therapies. But the strong friendship between them has generated a sense of belonging that unites them in a special way; in his sisterhood flourishes the manifesto of freedom and pride with which they live their youth and proclaim their identity.

Omar Robles, Eduardo Esquivel
Eduardo Esquivel and Omar Robles are two mexican filmmakers with a degree in audiovisual arts from the University of Guadalajara. With Aurelia y Pedro Omar Robles received a special mention at the 66 'Berlinale and the Ariel 2017 award for best documentary short film. His second short film, Los desterrados Hijos de Eva, premiered at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma de Montréal and received the award for best mexican fiction at Shorts México 2018. Eduardo Esquivel premiered his short film Uriel y Jade at Sheffield Doc / Fest 2017. His second short film, Lo que no se dice bajo el sol was part of the Semaine de la Critique program and won the Prix Révélation at the Cinélatino, Las flores de la noche is their first feature.
