Estela is a lonely cleaning worker. She spends her nights gambling online to win a dream trip to the Bahamas. Suddenly, her routine is questioned when a coworker falls in love with her.
Yamil Quintana (Mexico, 1989). Is an editor, screenwriter and director. Studied anthropology and filmmaking. His latest short film Winds of furnace (2016), was screened at Tribeca Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, London Short Film Festival; as well as in other places like Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Chile, Canada, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, France, Italy, Bulgaria, India, Korea, Nepal and Portugal. He received the Award for Best Short film at the Mar del Plata Film Festival and Award for Best Short Film - Diosa de Plata by the Mexican Association of Cinematographic Critics P.E.C.I.M.E. He is currently working on financing his debut feature VALKY and develops another feature film: Bahamas.
