The story of an elderly man who lives in the solitude of his immense film library. A place that seems infinite and eternal in which each shelf contains an invaluable treasure, its memories. However, with the passage of time everything begins to deteriorate and fade, causing his anguish and terror, knowing that he cannot reverse it despite trying.

Sofía Rosales Arreola studied at the Audiovisual Arts Degree in the Image and Sound Department of the University of Guadalajara. She is a self-taught animator and La casa de la memoria is her first short film under her direction, where she mixes stop motion and 2D animation techniques.
