Pich, a young woman working at a beauty salon in Phnom Penh, spends most of her nights at work chatting and gossiping with her coworkers and customers. One night, she gives into her restrained interest in Lay, a young man who spends his evenings driving Phnom Penh's streets by motorbike as a delivery man. They share an unspoken desire, an impatient encounter, and the strange realization of mutual attraction.

Danech San
Danech San has worked in production on a variety of projects with Anti-Archive since 2015. Her first short film as a director, A million years (2018), won awards in Singapore and Hamburg and was broadcast on Arte TV in 2020. Sunrise in my mind, her second film, held its world premiere in competition in October 2020 in Busan, and has screened at Berlin Critics' Week, Kurzfilm Hamburg, and Fribourg International Film Festival. She also recently completed a short documentary, Sea within a sea, which premiered at Doc Edge Film Festival in New Zealand in June 2021.
