Mauricio Sánchez Arias was born in the city of Querétaro on March 11, 1994. He graduated from the National School of Cinematographic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (ENAC-UNAM), previously known as CUEC. He mainly works as a cinematographer, as it is what he enjoys doing the most, but he is a versatile filmmaker and also works as a director, screenwriter, mixer, microphone player, camera assistant and continuist.
