In a desert town in Mexico, whose only exit to the outside world is through a 2 km long, one-way tunnel, live Alex, his father Juan and Juan's assistant and secret lover, Sebastián. One morning, Alex plays at the tunnel entrance and gets excited by the arrival of a truck. Meanwhile, Juan, an impassive homosexual man, has problems with the workers at the silver mine that he owns. Both will have to deal with the imminent departure of Sebastián, who has always had a very close relationship with Alex.

Ziyi Jin
Ziyi Jin (1995, China) earned her Master's degree in Film Directing from the California Institute of Arts. Ziyi believes that cinema is one of the most powerful ways to break down cultural barriers. In 2018 she made the first documentary of her, inspired by the nostalgia and problems derived from being an immigrant in the United States. At the end of 2019, she traveled to Mexico to film her thesis project. It was this production that marked a change in her career, as she made her face problems such as not being able to write or direct in her language. This made her the filmmaker that she is today: a director who, regardless of the society she tries to portray, she will manage to connect with the audience, putting an end to the cultural barriers that she is so interested in breaking.
