In 1998 Singapore, at the peak of the Asian financial crisis, a man and his family spend their final day on Earth at Sentosa island. There, he confronts the peculiar closeness between salvation and terror.

They co-founded Emoumie studio and have directed films that explore absurdist themes. Winners of the First Prize at the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize and the Best Director award at the Singapore International Film Festival. Their work has been presented at festivals including BFI London, Tampere and Singapore.
