His unearthing leads the author down a path of playful self-questioning through family memory reconstructions, the political climate of the time, and reinterpretations of Oscar's unfilmed scripts performed by his family.

My Mother Resents Me won an Honorable Mention at the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival and the Prize at Bushwick Film Festival. It Runs in the Family has been awarded at True/False, BFI Flare, BAFICI 2022 and Fine Arts RD.
