In a small rural Mexican community where traditions are strongly valued, a marginal LGBT group wants to organize for the first time a gay pride parade during the well-known annual village carnival. A transexual star is invited to come and help them causing an unexpected confrontation.

Fernando Colin Roque

He studied Visual Arts at UNAM before joining Le Fresnoy in France. The Song of Lowlands (2008) won the Best Photography award and a Special Mention in the Mexican Documentary Category at the DOCSMX festival. He also participated in the Talent Campus Guadalajara and directed The Most Living Shout (2011), produced by the Mexican Ministry of Culture.
