After Lupita, a neighborhood activist, discovers that her beloved local bingo hall has been taken over by a businessman named Mr. Big, she rallies her elderly friends to fight back against the enigmatic entrepreneur. But when her neighbors begin turning up dead, Lupita suddenly discovers that gentrification is the least of her problems.

Gigi Saul Guerrero
Mexican director, screenwriter and actress based in Canada. She studied at Capilano University, where she met Luke Bramley and Gordon Cheng, with whom she founded the company Luchagore Productions in 2013. She directed a segment of the anthology México Bárbaro and her short film El Gigante was acclaimed before she premiered her first series, La Quinceañera.
