Hao Zhou is a filmmaker from rural China. His work centers on marginalized voices and spaces, with a focus on LGBTQ+ themes. An alumn of the Cinéfondation Résidence and Berlinale Talents, his short film Frozen Out was a Gold Medalist at the Student Academy Awards and screened at Frameline, NewFest, and BFI Flare.
