When Marusya meets Kimi a love story begins. Together, Marusya and Kimi film the euphoria, anxiety and misery of their youth, burning the candle at both ends, fuelled by drugs and music. When Kimi’s addiction threatens to make him fade away forever, Marusya’s camera becomes her last chance to save that fragile soul.

Marusya Syroechkovskaya
She studied Documentary Filmmaking at the School for Documentary Film and Theatre in Moscow and received her MA in Film Directing from the Institute of Contemporary Art. She has participated in the Flahertiana Documentary Workshop and the Picture Berlin residency. She was a Nipkow fellow in 2015 and is a member of the Russian Documentary Guild (RGDoc).
