Johannes, a man with the heart of a child, lives isolated in an alpine cabin with his mother and an eagle named Arthur. Their everyday life is governed by prayers and familiar rituals but, suddenly, modernity intrudes on their world of nature and divine praise: a ski resort threatens to poison their pristine paradise and awaken the devil.

Peter Brunner
Austrian filmmaker and musician. He studied at the Viennese Academy of Film, where he was taught by Michael Haneke. He has made various shorts and music videos. He directed Sickness of the Youth in 2007 with his fellow students. His musical project is called Cardiochaos and its EP Poetic Terrorism was released in 2012. My Blind Heart (2013) was his feature film debut.
