This documentary feature film narrates the 50-year struggle of the feminist collective La Revuelta: a group of women united in life and activism. Her revolt in favor of women's rights in the midst of a tremendously macho and traditionalist society like Mexico's is a testimony of struggle and heroism that is necessary in our days.
Mexican sociologist, photographer and filmmaker. From a very young age she has been linked to the most urgent social causes of Mexican society. She is co-founder of the Mexican Academy of Human Rights and founder of the Mexican Society for Women's Rights "Semillas", which strengthens organized groups of women throughout the country in priority areas.
