He studied Audiovisual Arts at the University of Guadalajara and is Berlinale Talents student. His documentary Aurelia and Pedro won an Ariel and a Special Mention from the Kplus jury at the Berlinale. Afuera (2015) and Bestia (2016) have been screened and awarded at various international festivals.
