When the COVID-19 pandemic puts the world on lockdown, photographer Spencer Tunick reinvents his art in order to create spaces for connection within isolation that allow the participants to resist, survive and heal.

Nicole Vanden Broeck
Nicole Vanden Broeck is a French-Mexican filmmaker. She received the FONCA-CONACYT Scholarship to study an MFA in Directing at AFI. Her thesis film ELLE (2020) premiered at the Rhode Island IFF and won the Grand Prize Marlyn Mason Award for new voices, new perspectives by women in film. Her documentary WITHIN TIME (2017) won the EcoFilm Festival’s Best Short Film Award and the Hola Mexico Film Festival’s Audience Award. Her directorial work has screened at 60+ festivals. She is a BAFTA Newcomer talent and is currently developing her narrative feature debut with the support of Cine Qua Non Lab.
