A documentary on performance artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña’s 40-year career alongside his international troupe La Pocha Nostra. Featuring exclusive footage from his personal archive, Gómez-Peña enacts his artistic interventions by reclaiming and “queering the border” as a laboratory for utopian ideas and artistic experimentation.

Amber Bay Bemak

Filmmaker, artist, and educator whose creative practice is based in experimental and documentary film. Her work has been shown at festivals such as Oberhausen, BAMcinemaFest, Sheffield Docfest, Ann Arbor and DocLisboa. She has taught film theory and practice in India, Nepal, Kenya, Mexico, and the US. She lives in Dallas after three years in Mexico City.
