Using their smartphones, an ensemble of diverse characters documents their confinement and strip down the walled-in everyday life during quarantine. The Lockdown vol. 1 is an intimate and sincere portrait of the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fábregas was director of Video at VICE Mexico. He currently writes his debut film Los algodones supported by Tribeca, Rotterdam and the Los Cabos Festival. Maza was selected for Berlinale Talent Campus 2011 and his work has been exhibited at festivals in America, Europe and Africa. His script, El temporal, was supported by IMCINE.
