The story takes place in Mexico during the 1990s. Álex (a seven-year-old boy) and his siblings are left in the care of their great-aunt Lola, who turns on the radio every night so they can listen to her mother while she works as an announcer in the station.

Samuel Kishi Leopo
He studied Audiovisual Arts at the University of Guadalajara. His short Luces negras (2009) won the National Post-production Award from IMCINE and he won the State Fund for Arts and Culture scolarship. He founded the production company Cebolla Films and his films include the short films Memoria viva (2006) and Mari Pepa (2011).
